At the age of 12, André "Ænder" Millim started to play the drums for the first time. As an autodidact, "Ænder" started to push himself and to make music on various music projects and different people to gain experience. At a certain point in his career it was clear that music shouldn't just be a hobby and it was time to take that to a new level. With this intention, knowledge in classically oriented music theory followed, later a completion of the "1er Prix" in jazz drumset.
In addition to the jazz-oriented training in instrument and theory at the Conservatoire, he has also been able to gain a lot of stage, songwriting and teaching experience over the years:
2010: Germany tour with the band "Rude Revelation" as opening act for "Six Feet Under" & "Illdisposed"
2011: "Wacken Open Air" with the band "Rude Revelation".
2013: Tremplin Durbuy Rock Festival winner with the band "Scarlet Anger"
2016: First private lessons for drums
2017: Teacher at the "education différenciée" for music introduction.
2018: Drum teacher at the "Rock University" in Luxembourg.
2019: Mini tour of the Czech Republic with the band "Sublind".
2022: Drum teacher at the music school "Mezzoforte"
"Ænder" was a sub (back-up drummer) with bands like Blessed Hellride (DE), Cosmogon (LU), Black Out Beauty (LU), InOut (LU), Ed Hunters (FR) or Postindustrial Poets (LU).
The academic and practical experience have meant that the drummer had been able to gain a broad spectrum of musical understanding. This also enables him to adapt and teach different styles.
